The only thing that would make me buy a new vehicle would be remarkable new technology like dramatically better mileage or a remarkable new (non-terrorist) fuel capability.

The current Mom mobile has 96K, and why do I want to get a new one to have more cookies, fries, drinks and clothes to end up under the seats. The Suburban works great, so if I can make it another 103K then I'd say I'll get a new or 1-2 year old SUV in 6 or 7 years.
