Rumor has it that Halo will be out for PSP. Does anybody know the truth?

Seeing as Microsoft owns (or at least has a stake in) Bungie, I seriously doubt that MS would allow Halo to be published on the PSP or PS3. Also, if PS followers outnumber Xbox fans, why is it that the 360 (and the Wii) are both beating the PS3 in sales?

I don't see why it would be bad. In the gaming industry, money is made from the software. The gaming manufacters almost always lose money on hardware but make up for it in software and licensing deals.

This move, if it was true, would be a boost to MS's bottom line, as the number of Playstation followers outnumber Xbox.

dont think thats true. microsoft wouldnt let playstation get it since that is microsofts big money maker!
